Brought up in a well-known showbusiness family I have been surrounded by elegance and glamour all my life. My mother was a well-known singer, my father a Jazz pianist and then a well-known agent to the stars such as Lulu, Stevie Wonder, Motown, Mud, Slade and so many well-known personalities in the swinging sixties!! There was always singing and music in our house. I am oozing with ideas and have a passion for making people look their absolute best.
I trained in Harrow technical College then Town and Country in Knightsbridge and gained many professional qualifications. I then went on to work for Glemby International in Selfridges, for Steiner as a Maritime Standby and then on the ships and for Estee Lauder on her PR team all around London and was poached by The Savoy Hotel doing lots of hair up dos for events - my passion! In order to keep my skills up to date I regularly attend courses with Wella, Renee Guinot, Patrick Cameron, Lash Perfect and Schwarzkopf.
I often help clients in all the London hotels doing hair and makeup for events, Royal Ascot, Gala dinners, weddings, brides, civil partnerships, office parties, black tie events, proms, Christmas parties, TV, commercials and functions and am regularly seen in magazines, film and TV.
I was proud to be featured on Channel 4 news when Kate Williams and Prince William got married, do lots of hair for TV, e.g. Eastenders, Don’t tell the Bride, Miss Marple, Coronation Street, Poirot, Celebrities and much more. I love to transform my Clients to look and feel their absolute best. So when I leave they feel a Million Dollars and regularly use hair pieces, clip in extensions and bangs to enhance any style whether long or short.
